9374-3482 Québec Inc. (“Drive Business Development”) is committed to respecting privacy and protecting personal information. This policy aims to describe Drive Business Development’s commitment to protecting and securing access to its clients’ personal information in the course of providing its services.
Through this policy, Drive Business Development confirms its adherence to the principles of confidentiality and protection of personal information regarding its clients’ personal information, and commits to ensuring that any processing of personal information by Drive Business Development, its employees, officers, agents, and subcontractors, as applicable, is carried out in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (R.S.Q. c. P-39.1). More specifically, Drive Business Development undertakes to:
- Treat its clients’ confidential information and personal data with the utmost confidentiality, providing the same level of protection as it would for its own confidential information;
- Not disclose, share, or use confidential information and personal data for any purpose other than the provision of services to its clients; and
- Notify clients as soon as possible of any incident, unauthorized access, or disclosure involving their confidential information or personal data, and assist clients in fulfilling their obligations to respond to any request from a government authority or individual regarding the protection of personal data.
Specifically regarding the data collected about its clients, aside from contact information (names of certain employees or representatives, business addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses), Drive Business Development does not collect or retain any personal information belonging to its clients.
However, in order to fulfill the mandates entrusted to it as part of its service provision, Drive Business Development has access to and possesses sensitive information that allows it to access confidential information and personal data belonging to its clients.
It is therefore essential for Drive Business Development that all such data, considered confidential and sensitive information and stored on a local server, be secured and maintained in accordance with industry best practices in cybersecurity.
Members of the Drive Business Development team, as well as their subcontractors, access this information by logging into the Drive Business Development server, and only to the extent necessary to perform their duties, and no further.
All Drive Business Development employees and subcontractors have signed a confidentiality agreement, and each has formally committed to adhering to a set of very strict rules contained in our Code of Professional Conduct.
As soon as an employee or subcontractor leaves or terminates their contract with Drive Business Development, all their access privileges are immediately revoked. The client is notified, and, if necessary, passwords may be changed.
If a client decides to terminate the agreement with Drive Business Development, all access credentials and other sensitive information related to that client will be deleted on a mutually agreed-upon date. The client’s data may remain in Drive Business Development’s backups for approximately 60 days after it has been deleted from the company’s server.
