And wow\u2026 did that ever prove me wrong! What a surprisingly great evening. At that age, I had dragged my feet going to see this old play by Moli\u00e8re. Honestly, I was expecting something as exciting as a grammar discussion with a great-aunt. But what a turnaround!<\/p>\n

I remember\u2026 right from the start, Harpagon\u2014this character tighter than the lid on a brand-new pickle jar\u2014had me laughing out loud. I thought the theme of greed would feel as outdated as VHS tapes in the CD era. Instead, I found hilarious similarities with our own everyday struggles\u2026 I was having a hard time paying my rent, my metro pass, and my store-brand peanut butter. If I lent you a CD, you better bring it back quickly and in perfect condition\u2014I paid 15 bucks for it \ud83d\udcbf\ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n

What does this have to do with my professional life as I approach my fifties?<\/strong><\/p>\n
