A new year is beginning. What projects, dreams, and wishes do we have?

The new year can simply be a continuation of the last one. We had plans we didn’t fully complete. If they still matter to us, we can put them back on our list for the coming year.

Some of our goals may be long-term—for example, dreaming of moving to a different region in retirement, maybe somewhere quieter in the countryside.

It’s healthy to have dreams—they help us move forward and give us a reason to get up each morning and make them happen.

Every January 1st, we make resolutions… and often don’t keep them for more than 24 hours.

Let’s switch to revolutions instead! Overthinking scenarios doesn’t get us anywhere—we don’t know what tomorrow holds.

Let’s move forward and add a little spark to our lives. Allow yourself at least one day a week without a schedule—and even better if it’s more.

Having no schedule doesn’t mean avoiding responsibilities. On the contrary, it gives us a chance to recharge so we can be more present afterward. On Saturdays, I allow myself to read the newspapers as long as I want—a pure moment of happiness! I take time to rest while staying informed about current events and, of course, discovering new books.

Let’s stop putting unnecessary pressure on our shoulders. We can’t control everything, but we can manage a good part of it.
